Virginie

I am a French native speaker from Paris, where I lived until 2015 before coming to the US.

After obtaining a Master’s in Literature from Sorbonne University and a career in Journalism, I decided on a career change due to an experienced as an Au Pair in the US where I took care of two young boys (ages 2 and 3) for a year. Then, when I returned to Paris, I worked helping children with disabilities for almost 2 years. In parallel, I taught at the University of Paris-Diderot, as well as in a social center for young immigrants.

With my second Master degree, Teaching French for Speakers of Other Languages for School and Business, I worked in NYC and NJ with children from Pre K2 to 5th Grade in different fields such as; French Language, Math, Social Studies, Science, History/Geography, the Environment, Gardening, Art, and Cooking Projects.

It has been such an amazing journey to work with children in a bilingual environment. I am so happy to continue this experience aiding children’s development and growth; creating a nurturing environment that provides emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth for the next generation being a part of Petits Poussins Too team.
